विकसता विकसता......

  काश्मीर यात्रा नोंदी, मे १९५८ श्री. स.ना. परांजपे मुलाखती : पंडितजी काश्मीरात गेल्यावर तेथे हिंदू वस्तीत फिरत फिरत गेलो. जुनी वस्ती संमिश्र आहे. हिंदू व मुसलमान हे मिळून मिसळून राहातात. तसेच त्यांची देवळे व मशिदी ही त्या मोहल्ल्यात आहेत. जुनी वस्ती झेलमच्या काठाने आहे. त्या दिवशी फिरताना एक श्रीगणपतीचे देवस्थान आढळले. नमस्कार वगैरे केल्यावर आजूबाजूला लक्ष टाकले तर लोकांना उतरण्यासाठी व प्रवासात वस्ती करण्यासाठी जागा आढळल्या. माझे सहप्रवासी अनंतराव पाटील हे भारी चौकस गृहस्थ आहेत. त्यांनी तेथील पुजाऱ्यास पुष्कळच प्रश्न विचारण्यास सुरुवात केली. इतक्यात त्या देवस्थानचे एक ट्रस्टी   तेथे आले व त्यांनी आम्हास ऑफिसात नेले व नंतर दोन तास आम्ही त्यांच्याशी गप्पा गोष्टी केल्या. त्यात एक विद्वान लेखक , एक सेक्रेटरी आणि तेथील त्याच ट्रस्टमार्फत चालणाऱ्या शाळेचे शिक्षक यांनी आत्मीयतेने भाग घेतला. त्यातील विद्वान लेखक हे अत्यंत अभ्यासू व परिस्थितीचा सूक्ष्म अभ्यास केलेले दिसले. देवस्थान , धर्मशाळा , धार्मिक शिक्षणसंस्था , एक शाळा या सर्व गोष्टी चालविणारे ते एकीचे एक संमेलनच जमले. परदेशात
