Swadhyay Prawachan as Pedagogical Approach practiced at Jnana Prabodhini The pursuit of knowledge has been an essential aspect of Indian tradition. Two significant methods of acquiring knowledge are Swadhyaya or self-study and Prawachan or discourse, which are complementary and mutually reinforcing approaches. As educators, our primary goal is to cultivate a culture of curiosity and inquiry in our students. We want them to be intrigued by the world around them, ask questions, and seek answers. Swadhyay Prawachan , a pedagogical approach from the Upanishads, that can help us achieve this goal.
