 Dear Team PBL, Paramita Schools,

With great pleasure and admiration, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to each member of the Paramita School PBL team for your engagement in Project-Based Learning throughout the academic year 2022-23. Your active participation in Project-Based Learning truly highlights your commitment to innovative education practices under the visionary guidance of Dr. E Prasad Rao.

Project-Based Learning holds a special place in modern education, providing a dynamic platform that goes beyond textbooks. It is not merely a teaching-learning methodology; it's a transformative approach that equips both students and teachers at Paramita with not only content and skills but also nurtures educational values that extend beyond the classroom. By immersing the Paramita school system in Project-Based Learning, you are cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and creativity - attributes that are indispensable for shaping individuals in the 21st century.

It's encouraging to learn about the publication of the summary of project reports by students for the academic year 2022-23. Project-Based Learning serves as a unique pillar within the Paramita Group of Schools. PBL symbolizes Paramita’s dedication as an educational institute to nurture students with practical relevance, interdisciplinary exploration, and community engagement. This makes Project-Based Learning an intrinsic part of the Paramita identity.

Working collaboratively with the Paramita School PBL team has been an absolute delight for the Jnana Prabodhini PBL team. Under the leadership of Dr. E Prasad Rao, as an institution, Paramita's enthusiasm, dedication, and collaborative spirit have inspired us. The shared journey towards innovations in education with excellence has reinforced the power of collaboration, which is the need of the time in the educational world. This collaboration aims to enrich the education system and contribute to the implementation of the New Education Policy.

As you continue your journey of PBL in the next academic year, we encourage you to channel Project-Based Learning initiatives towards addressing issues faced by common individuals and society at large. By focusing on real-world problems, we can help our students and teachers develop a deeper understanding of complex issues. Enhancing problem-solving approaches and creative production skills during PBL can empower Paramita to contribute to empowering students to create innovative solutions.

Once again, congratulations on Team Paramita's efforts in practising Project-Based Learning and interdisciplinary learning. We look forward to extending our collaboration, as both Jnana Prabodhini and Paramita School share a vision to take Project-Based Learning to schools across Telangana.

Embracing Sankalpa Shakti: The Timeless Spirit of Bhagiratha

Embracing Sankalpa Shakti : The Timeless Spirit of Bhagiratha Last week, I was in Chennai for an orientation program organized by Jnana Prabodhini on how to conduct the Varsharambha Upasana Ceremony, marking the beginning of the new session by observing Sankalpa Din (Resolution Day). This ceremony, initiated by Jnana Prabodhini, serves as a modern-day Sanskar ceremony to encourage and guide students and teachers towards a path of a strong and determined mindset. Fifty-five teachers from 16 schools across Chennai attended the orientation. To prepare myself mentally and make use of the travel time, I took an old novel from my bookshelf—one that I’ve probably read a hundred times. Aamhi Bhagirathache Putra by Gopal Dandekar, also known as Go. Ni. Da., is a Marathi novel that intertwines the construction of the Bhakra Nangal Dam with the ancient story of Bhagiratha bringing the Ganga to Earth. Set in post-independence India, it explores the lives of workers, engineers, and vi...

Project-Based Learning (PBL): Learning in Action! 7 : Handling Various Sources of Information

Project-Based Learning (PBL): Learning in Action! 7 Handling Various Sources of Information We observe numerous incidences and actively participate in various events and incidents occurring around us. During these experiences, numerous questions arise in our minds: Why? Because of what? Because of whom? For what reason? For whom? Who will answer these questions? It's you! You have to find the answers! The responsibility to find answers to these questions lies with you, the explorer to explore and discover these answers. These queries often surface as we observe and participate in experiences. Unravelling the solutions to these questions and actualizing ideas is akin to working on a project. To unearth the answers and fructify ideas, understanding the essence of the project's topic and gathering relevant details becomes a crucial part of project action. Project action often involves meeting and conversing with multiple individuals. In cases where direct meetings ar...
