  संस्कृतीच्या प्राणधारा : १  दोन दिवसांपूर्वी त्रिपुरी पौर्णिमेच्या आसपास अनके घरांमध्ये तुळशीचे लग्न लावले जात होते. तुळशीचे लग्न बघताना काही महिन्यांपूर्वी एका प्रशिक्षणासाठी गोव्याला फोंडा परिसरात झालेला प्रवास आठवला. कळव्याला शांतादुर्गा देवस्थानाच्या जवळ मुक्कामी होतो. गेली अनेक वर्षे दिवाळीच्या आधी राष्ट्रीय प्रज्ञा शोध परीक्षेच्या अभ्यासवर्गाच्या निमित्ताने दिवाळीच्या आधी फोंड्यात जाणे होते. दिवसभर प्रशिक्षण सत्र झाल्यावर संध्याकाळी मंदिरांना भेटी , ज्या मंदिरात परवानगी असेल तेथील पुष्करणीत पोहणे हा ठरलेला कार्यक्रम. संध्याकाळी गावात फिरत असताना अनेक घरांसमोर   बांधलेली आकर्षक तुळशी वृंदावने पाहायला मिळाली. सुंदर घडवलेली वृंदावने हे गोव्याचे एक वैशिष्ट्य आहे. ही वृंदावने पाहत असताना काही वर्षांपूर्वी पणजीत पाहिलेल्या एका संग्रहालयाची आठवण झाली. गोव्यातील आकर्षक तुळशी वृंदावनांचा व त्यांच्या छायाचित्रांचा संग्रह तेथे होता.   संग्रहालयात दोन प्रकारची वृंदावने होती ; एकात तुळस लावली होती तर दुसऱ्या वृंदावनात क्रॉस लावला होता. गोव्यात हिंदू आणि इसाई दोन्ही ...

National Quadrilateral : One Year ! One Nation !! 

                                                               मनोगत नमस्कार! गेलं वर्षभर प्रतिज्ञेचा कालावधी वाढवून पुन्हा तृतीय प्रतिज्ञा घ्यावी का असा विचार चालला होता. बऱ्याच जणांनी हे समजल्यावर ‘परत तृतीय प्रतिज्ञा का ?’ असा प्रश्न केला. खरंतर मलाही तेव्हा हा प्रश्न पडला होता. काय काम करायचे , का करायचे आणि कशासाठी करायचे , रोजचे प्रबोधिनीतील निहित केलेलं काम आणि प्रतिज्ञा घेऊन केलेलं काम याबद्दल वेळोवेळी आ. संचालकांसोबतच्या मासिक बैठकीत प्रश्नोत्तरे होत होती. यातून मला प्रतिज्ञा परत का याचे माझ्या संदर्भातील माझ्यापुरते उत्तर सापडतं होते.    अनेकांनी विचारलेल्या ‘परत तृतीय प्रतिज्ञा का ?’ या प्रश्नाच्या टाळलेल्या उत्तरासाठी बहुदा काल प्रतिज्ञा ग्रहण कार्यक्रमाच्या आदल्या दिवशी मला   आज प्रतिज्ञेविषयी मनोगत व्यक्त करण्यास सांगितलं आहे.   सूचना मिळाल्यावर यावर थोडा विचार...
